Stephen Nozaki, DDS, MPH, DIDIA

Stephen Nozaki, DDS, MPH, DIDIA, is the owner and lead dentist at Image Dental in Stockton, California. Dr. Nozaki consistently learns and adopts new and advanced techniques to bring to his patients. Born and raised in California’s Central Valley, Dr. Nozaki strives to give his valued community members and their families the exceptional care they deserve.

Dr. Nozaki is a third-generation Japanese American and the son of a missionary doctor. While growing up, he spent time in several different countries, including Singapore, Guam, and Taiwan. After graduating high school in Guam, he moved back to the United States to attend California State University, San Bernardino. After earning his degree in biology, he earned his master’s and doctorate from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.

After his formal education, Dr. Nozaki completed fellowship training in implant dentistry through the International Dental Implant Association. Today, he continuously updates his knowledge base and repertoire with memberships in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the local San Joaquin Dental Society. He’s also a Diplomate of the International Dental Implant Association.

Dr. Nozaki frequently provides a variety of dental treatments, focusing primarily on cosmetic dentistry, and implant surgeries and restorations. At Image Dental, Dr. Nozaki collaborates with specialists which include an anesthesiologist, an oral surgeon, an endodontist and a periodontist.

When he isn’t at Image Dental visiting with patients, Dr. Nozaki spends his free time scuba diving, snowboarding, mountain biking, running, surfing, golfing, taking photos, and spending time with his family.
