J. C. Chang, DDS, MS

Endodontist

Dr. J.C. Chang was born in Taiwan and was raised in Northern California’s Bay Area. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and Minors in Psychology and Art History from the University of California, Irvine.

During her postgraduate studies at Northwestern University, her research involved finding and studying de novo Genetic Suppressors of HIV-1 Viral Protein R.

Dr. Chang received her Bachelor’s in Dental Science and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004, graduating cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and received election into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

She returned to the Bay Area and completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Chang received her certificate and finished her specialty training in Endodontics at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

She is a member of the following associations:

  • American Dental Association

Dr. Chang enjoys photography, world travel, hiking, reading, and art. She hopes to be certified in scuba diving and among the many, dive the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Northern Queensland.
