Last Updated: May 15, 2026
Image Dental (“Image Dental,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit myimagedental.com, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the rights you have under California and federal law.
By using our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through our website. The two documents serve different purposes and apply to different types of information.

How We Share Your Information
We share information only as described below.
Service Providers
We share information with third parties that perform services on our behalf, such as our website hosting provider, email service, scheduling and patient management systems, and IT and security vendors. These providers receive only the information they need to do their job and are required to handle it appropriately.
Legal and Regulatory Requirements
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

If Image Dental is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With Your Consent
We share information for any other purpose with your consent.
We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
Image Dental does not sell personal information in exchange for money. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes outside of the analytics and advertising tools described above, which operate under their own terms.
Patient Testimonials and Reviews
Some content on our website includes patient testimonials and reviews. We obtain written authorization from any patient before using their name, image, words, or any identifying information in our marketing materials, as required by HIPAA. We may also display reviews that patients have voluntarily posted on public platforms such as Google or Yelp. We do not respond to online reviews in any way that discloses protected health information.
Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. We treat children as patients in our office. If a parent or guardian wants to request an appointment for a child, please submit the request on the child’s behalf. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through our website, contact us and we will delete it.
Language Access
We are committed to serving patients of all language backgrounds. If you would like to communicate with us in a language other than English, please call our office at (209) 955-1500 and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights with respect to personal information we collect about you. These rights are subject to certain exceptions and to information we are required by law to retain.
Right to Know. You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we have shared it.
Right to Delete. You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions. We cannot delete patient health records that we are required to maintain under HIPAA, California law, or insurance requirements.
Right to Correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the way the California Consumer Privacy Act defines those terms.
Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information at the top of this policy. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframes required by California law.
California “Shine the Light” Disclosure
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 allows California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Image Dental does not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing.
Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting that signals to websites you do not want to be tracked. Because there is no universal standard for how to respond to these signals, our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You can still control cookies and tracking through the methods described above.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Patient health records are retained for the period required by California law and applicable insurance and tax rules. Website inquiry information is retained for the period needed to respond to your request and follow up appropriately.
How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
