Owner & Lead Dentist

Dr. Nozaki is known for being one of the best dentists in the Stockton, CA area. Born in the Central Valley, Dr. Nozaki is pleased to call this home. He hasn’t always stayed in the US. As a son of a missionary doctor, his youth was spent traveling overseas with his family to destinations including Singapore, Taiwan, and Guam. In 1991, he graduated from high school in Guam and relocated back to California to continue his education.

Dr. Nozaki earned his undergraduate degree in biology from California State University. He attended Loma Linda University in Southern California, where he received his master’s degree in epidemiology (MPH) as well as his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). In 2014, Dr. Nozaki finished his fellowship with the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA), and later become a diplomate of the organization.

His passion for the dental field, and desire to give his patients the best care possible drives Dr. Nozaki to learn new techniques and stay up to date on the latest technology.

When not helping patients achieve their dream smile, Stephen is staying very active. He enjoys snowboarding, golfing, scuba diving, photography, and spending time with his family and friends.

Tex Mabalon, DDS

Dr. Tex Mabalon is a prominent figure in the dental community since his graduation from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentist in 2016. He is an active member in the San Joaquin Dental Society and volunteers regularly at Saint Raphaels Dental Clinic in Stockton and CDA Cares.

Access to dental health is extraordinarily important to him, and he visits the Philippines to provide dental services to adults and children. Dr. Tex is committed to building a relationship of trust with his patients and offers the highest quality in care and service.

He completed Level II Cosmetic training in smile design through the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum and continues to stay up to date with the cutting edge technology and techniques.

Outside of dentistry, you will find him spending time playing basketball, snowboarding or traveling.

Gaetan Tchamba, DDS

Dr. Gaetan Tchamba was born and raised in Cameroon Central Africa. Growing up as a missionaries kid, Dr. Tchamba experienced serving communities of all kinds.

He has devoted hundreds of hours doing community service such as volunteering on Mission trips around the world.

After many years in the mission field, Dr. Tchamba relocated to Michigan where he attended high school and college. He then attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California getting his doctorate degree in dentistry.

He completed Level II Cosmetic training in smile design through the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum and continues to stay up to date with the cutting edge technology and techniques.

Currently, he is a member of the Sacramento Dental Society and a member of the California Dental Society.

Dr. Tchamba prides himself in providing conservative oral care to everyone. He loves to interact with his patients & ensures that they are taken care of before they leave.

Dr. Tchamba recently moved to the Sacramento area and is looking forward to a bright future with this dental team.

Outside of dentistry, you will find him spending time playing basketball, snowboarding or traveling.

Aside from being a native French speaker, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling, playing sports, painting and always looking for an adventure to embark on.

June Chang, DDS, MS

June Chang, DDS, MS

Endodontist

June Chang, DDS was born in Taiwan and was raised in Northern California’s Bay Area. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and Minors in Psychology and Art History from the University of California, Irvine. During her postgraduate studies at Northwestern University, her research involved finding and studying de novo Genetic Suppressors of HIV-1 Viral Protein R. Dr. Chang received her Bachelor’s in Dental Science and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004, graduating cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and received election into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

She returned to the Bay Area and completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Chang received her certificate and finished her specialty training in Endodontics at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Northern California Academy of Endodontics, California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Chang enjoys photography, world travel, hiking, reading, and art. She hopes to be certified in scuba diving and among the many, dive the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Northern Queensland.
